Peach

Our peach tree has decided it is time to bloom. It has always been a very early bloomer but for the past two years (five years since planting)it has given us a great harvest of peaches so it just keeps doing it own thing and blooming in February. We try not to use pesticides and chemicals if possible but I still want a harvest. We have had great luck with the fruit bags from Clemson University to limit spray and get better quality on our peaches. Here's the link with more info. We normally get enough to make a few pies, eat our fill and a few for the freezer. We alwaysget lots of questions about the white bags of the trees-most thinking it has to do with Easter or some other holiday.
